Advocacy

At Huronia Transition Homes, advocacy is central to our mission to end violence against women. We work beyond crisis response to challenge the systemic issues that contribute to gender-based violence, poverty, housing insecurity, and inequitable access to support. Through community partnerships, public education, research, and policy engagement, we amplify the voices and lived experiences of women and gender-diverse people across our region. Our advocacy is rooted in intersectional feminist principles, social justice, and the belief that lasting change happens when communities work together to create safer, more equitable systems for everyone.
