National Day of Action - Verdict Day
Thursday, July 24
Join us for the verdict announcement of the Hockey Canada sexual assault trial to learn about the implications of this verdict and how you can stand in solidarity with survivors.
On Thursday, July 24th, our staff will be joining the team at Anova (the Emergency Shelter and Sexual Assault Counselling Centre in London, Ontario) to stand in solidarity with their #WeBelieveSurvivors campaign, and with E.M. as the verdict to the Hockey Canada sexual assault trial is announced that day.
Downtown Barrie and Midland, we are creating a public awareness #WeBelieveSurvivors campaign. Keep an eye out in the windows and doors of local businesses for posters that say #WeBelieveSurvivors, and follow the QR code included to learn more about the intersection of sexual violence and the justice system in Ontario.
